Baker Victory Service New Behavioral Facility

What was the Challenge?

B&L assisted in the design of a new 50,000SF behavioral facility in Buffalo, New York.  This facility was designed for mental health rehabilitation focus on helping individuals recover from mental illnesses like bipolar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, and more.

How did Barton & Loguidice provide a solution?

This facility was developed to provide a comforting environment for educational treatment. The spaces in this facility were designed to allow mental health professionals to treat mental health issues, both in individual and group settings.

The residential treatment programs in this facility offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment.  The living spaces were designed for complete supervision by staff and counselors.  There are design elements that allow for everyday education, from kitchen and dining areas, laundry rooms, living spaces and bedrooms.   All designed for a safe and supporting environment.

Why was the project a success?

This project, and the services offered by Baker Victory, provided a much needed and improved space, and healthy environment, to better serve mental health issues.
